Morosil® is a standardized extract made from Sicilian "moro" blood oranges. These oranges have been grown for centuries in Italian agriculture and require very specific climate conditions to flourish.

Anthocyanins, flavonoid polyphenols possessing antioxidant properties, create a deep red pigment in the orange, which results in their rich dark color.

Preclinical evidence suggests anthocyanins may play a role in fat accumulation by significantly changing gene expression in adipocytes, more commonly known as fat cells.
